Lynda Carter, an American performer and actress, best famous for her role as Wonder Woman from the television show with the same name in the 1970s. Over the course of her career she has appeared in various movies and television shows. She is considered to be an icon for pop culture. The long and successful career of Lynda as an actor has been further enhanced by her directing and starring in a number of highly-rated CBS network TV specials, many of which have earned Emmy Award nominations. Her stage appearances have included some of the world's most known singers such as Ray Charles Tom Jones Kenny Rogers George Benson and Ben Vereen. Lynda began her professional career when she was 14 years old in Tempe Arizona. Her parents are Italian Her father operates an operation that produces paper. Laura has a family in Denville New Jersey and attended Morris Knolls High School where she discovered her love for acting. In 1984, she graduated with an bachelor of fine arts from CarnegieMellon School of Drama. Giacomo started her career by going into New York. She began doing theatre plays and was recognized by the audience for her performances. In 1987 she began her screen career as a minor character in numerous television shows.
